    not sure about this ebay coin...

    I was just browsing around ebay when I saw this:


    Aren't almost all 1992 cents wide AM to begin with? (Thought the rarer ones were close AM...) Maybe they're just making a note of it. Thought I'd post it.

    your just paying for a 92 Lincoln that is graded at MS68. They put Wide AM and Close AM on there so you wont be confused at all. It does confuse the beginner collector that isnt too familiar with it. I asked about it in the past myself

        Ah, thanks for the help kloccwork419. I am kind of a *ahem* beginner, but thanks for setting the details straight. And agreeing with trails, I do feel like the MS68 1992 penny for sale although shiny, seems a bit overpriced.

            I wasn't really able to tell if it was normal or a CLAM... I thought maybe a typo... Oh well way over priced!!!

              NGC thinks there doing collectors a favor when in fact it just creates confusion. This is a normal 92, just a high grade.
