Fake Clash

I sent an email to ebay a couple of months ago asking them about allowing people to state things about products they sell and who verifies that the seller is telling the truth. I received an email back from them basically stating they have front line people looking for this type of thing and they will forward my email to them. I sent an email back suggesting they might want to examine their front line people and see if they need to be better educated. They said they would look into the matter and have a nice day.

"Meet the new boss, same as the old boss".

That said, I am going to take a bunch of my MD's and put them up as DD's and sell them for a ton of money. If I don't do it, someone else will, right?

Mike- why didn't you just state the obvious- that it's a manufactured fake and selling such items as the genuine article is illegal and prohibited by eBay.

I did report the item, but without the ability to send text supporting my action, I have little faith that the ebay rep who looks at the report will know to do anything.

Chris, why get into a Pi__ing match with the seller right off the bat. And if he has sold that many items on ebay, who do you think they are going to side with looking at my numbers (I purchased about 6 items to date mostly for car parts) and then his? I wanted to see what he had to say about the product he was selling. Obviously his response said it all. If he has any type of guilt, hopefully this will play with his head that someone out there knows he is not telling the truth and will they take it any further. Let him think about it a little bit.

In my experience people do questionable things because they don't think they'll get called on it. If you were outside a restaurant and saw a guy punch is wife, would you say something? Most people would rather not get involved and I understand that. But I'd be the first in line to get my butt kicked by that guy outside the restaurant. And I'd do it again the same a thousand times. Not everyone needs to share my perspective, but I'll share it unless I'm asked not to.
