You can bet the reserve will be $750.00 or more. New CP Guide says this is worth $95.00 in MS-65.

I don't have the new CPG. How much is the mysterious 2000 S Close AM worth?

Some of the prices are ridiculous.
I feel some are way too low for what the market is showing, dealers, auctions, E-bay and shows.
I received a standard (pat) answer to my complaint from Whitman. The publisher pointed fingers at the author's.
However the publisher wanted to know what I felt should have been included in the book on Lincoln cents.

I already pointed out in my e-mail what coins (2001-2007 nothing listed) were left out.

I did list 1992-P Close AM, 1998-S (Proof) Close AM, all of the 1988-P-D Transitionals. I also listed the 2004 -P & D that FS #'s had been assigned to already.

They wanted me to submit a list for consideration for the next update along with all my personal data to be included into the book if the coins were listed. Go Figure.
I wouldn't want my name associated with a reference of poor quality as this update.

Once the book arrives at Barnes & Noble I am going to go there with a pen and paper and make a list of things that caused me not to buy it. I plan on emailing Whitman too. I agree with all the coins that were left out, especially the ones that were assigned FS #'s. Is the 1956 D/S WDMM-001 listed? It was assigned FS-511.

                    Joe:
That is either a typo or (I dont know!)
I just got the guide and realize I need to get the RPM guide also - which disapointed me.

Someone else researched the prices and put them in the new CP by the e-mail I got. Supposedly queries were sent out for guidance on pricing. Who Knows.

My copy is in the Little boy's room for extra reading time. (LOL)
