Buyer Beware | 1970-S Large Dates Being Sold as Small Dates

What a shame that there are that many ignorant buyers out there..sometimes I wonder if the buyers and sellers of this stuff simply deserve each other. -
This is exactly the stand I am taking from here on out. If a buyer can find eBay, they can find sites like this one, or at the very least look at a Redbook. I have zero sympathy anymore. But as far as this seller goes, he is nothing more than a crook. I sense shill bidding, and fake winners to boost sales and feedback. Reported this guy sometime back, and eBay chose to ignore. Let eBay shoulder some of the blame as well. This is a classic example of EDUCATION IS POWER."If Free Speech stops when someone gets offended, it is not really Free Speech."Comment

I hear you Sean. I feel about the same way; especially when I feel it's an ignorant seller meeting an ignorant buyer. I think this person is committing deliberate fraud, and making a supplemental income off of it. I reported it to Ebay as fraud too.“What can be asserted without evidence can also be dismissed without evidence.”Comment

Report it. This is one thing CCW might be able to handle, especially if we all report it in bulk.

I reported it last night. Still up though.“What can be asserted without evidence can also be dismissed without evidence.”Comment

I thought that just for the heck of it, I'd give the seller the benefit of the doubt. I sent them a message informing them that all of their coins were large date. The reply was simply, "thanks." The coins are still up for sale. We need more people reporting this. I'm all about "caveat emptor", but I hate sellers who deliberately commit fraud. I've sent Ebay a second message now.“What can be asserted without evidence can also be dismissed without evidence.”Comment
