Interesting Coin | Rare White Color Penny

I'm gonna go out on a limb and suggest that the possibility exists that this coin just might have been plated post mint.

He does state it is plated in his description. Don't step too far off that limb George. The fall doesn't hurt as much as the sudden stop

He sure does, Bob. Ya know... I saw BIN for a grand and just kinda lost it.

      (Thanks for keeping me honest.)

Plated, plated, plated and them some. I just love these people who have absolutely no clue as to what is going on in the numismatic world.

        Did I say plated!

He also has one of those novelty mini Kenndy halves listed at $1.5k - LOL.
Did someone say something about this being plated?

Despite everyone noting that this is plated -- I have inspected the pictures and the description and have deduced that instead of being plated..... it may be plated.
Now, at the price set ---- Plated with? Titanium? Platinum? Not many things it could be plated with could demand that price....

Oh, and I think it's plated

so...what is the point of anyone going through the effort, to photograph and list something (like that) at such an absurd price?
does he actually think he will get someone to pay $700 or more for that coin? i am hardley an experct coin collector - but "come on man"...

Maybe Fools Gold from Hoffman S American

No one would plate a already bad coin, would They?

You guys are having WAY too much fun with this one. I'm just gonna write the guy and ask him to have it plated.
