It usually doesn't take this long to get a response. I will report it again.

This is Dale, the owner of Illini Lincolns. This is not my coin. I have no intentions of selling anytime soon.

I don't see anything we can report on this one.

True. He has photos, and now it doesn't say it is slabbed. I cannot believe people were bidding on the last one without photos of the slab and without a clear photo of the AM. Better keep tabs on it and make sure they don't amend the description.

Knowing that it's a scam... is it unethical to bid heavily on it and not pay? Ebay only gives you an unpaid item ding, pretty much nothing- perhaps he'd get discouraged and just quit his shennanigans.

                    The 74-D proof is silly.

I have never liked the way that ebay lets sellers link the PCGS info for non PCGS graded coins.
It's useless info for a coin that's not graded by PCGS. I don't see the value in linking the PCGS coin number or catalog info. In most cases people leave that useless info instead of some useful description of the actual coin. Many times it's the wrong info for the listed coin, like in this case it's adding that it's a "deep cameo" giving the wrong mintmark "S", saying it's a "proof", saying it's PCGS coin number "93443". It's an automated way of putting in credible looking info with no substance.

They should only have allowed that feature with PCGS graded coins and the system should look it up based on the cert number not anything else.

I couldn't agree more with you Ed!

Again, non-coin people making decisions over an industry that they know nothing about.
