What Jamie says is true - what this seller is trying to do is deceive people into believing that the coin in the auction is MS-66.

The product detail is a self populated report from pcgs. I think this seller just doesn't have a clue how to grade and/or what the coin is really worth.

I sent him a message asking to not try to misrepresent coin condition to potential buyers. Will see how he responds.

Allowing product descriptions with PCGS coin numbers for coins not graded by PCGS is strange.
It can give wrong info, imply wrong grade or variety or say a proof is a CAM when it's not correct.

Ebay didn't allow numeric grades for raw coins but these descriptions mention numeric grades.

I don't understand the reasoning from a brand name point of view. It would be like if Ralph Lauren allowed their detailed product info to be used for anything similar to their Polo shirts on Ebay. Getting a brand name out is advertising but it's a risk when they have no control of the item it's being used with.

On the bright side, in listings like this it's so wrong that it's like a joke and most collectors won't be confused by it.
