    Buyer Beware | ebay bidder

Received this eBay message today, ticked me off a little. If they don't believe it's the coin stated they could have advised me in a more proper manner. As it is I imagine they found one cheaper and just decided they didn't want it anymore since they placed the bid early.

    Dear lincolncentcollector,

Please remove my bid on this coin. I don't believe it to be a true DDO/DDR a advertised and will not throw good money at bad investment. so please remove my bid for this coin I will not pay for something that is not as advertise. You can find someone else to bid on it.

    - ######0123 (name removed)
I told them politely that if they want it canceled they can do so via eBay themselves. And if they wanted it canceled they should have just told me the truth instead of insulting my integrity.

If anyone wants the name I am happy to share for blocked lists.

Oh and if the sender happens to be a member here, TB.

Yeah, that's not much of an excuse....why would he bid if he didn't think it genuine ? I'll PM you for his ID....I don't like to deal with these kinds.

      Thomas,

I'd love to have that bidders Ebay name. Sounds exactly like the type of person I don't want anywhere near my listings. If there is a bright side, it's that you got rid of him before the auction ended. Otherwise, he would have probably been one of those that has no clue how to even look at(for) varieties and would have left you a negative feedback.

Hey Guys, educate me.. I'm not the bidder but how do you retract a bid? I thought if you bid and you won it was yours.. Along time ago I bid on a coin I thought was a different RPM and realized the mistake later, The seller had no problem since he had not "Shipped" the coin, and I left positive that it was my mistake.. I'd like to know how this is done if I ever make a mistake again... Thanxxx

While you are supposed to meet the said criteria, no one checks as far as I know.
