Ebay says we can't sell clad US mint coins!

Not sure if this is the best forum to post this in, but I didn't think any of the others seemed better. Ebay removed an item from our store recently, and when we called to question them, they told us we were not allowed to sell clad US MINT coins on ebay! Not the ones in circulation, or any of them?!? This sounds like a line of BS to me, but they repeatedly told us and said it is an ebay policy and that they "remove all clad coins from ebay". Huh.... I can show a couple thousand on there right now LOL.... Anyone else having trouble?

I'll bet they don't understand Clad. Bet they think it as counterfeit replica along that line.
Haven't heard that one though. I will try one tomorrow.

They are thinking of the word clad as meaning plated. Like some of those private mint buffalo coins that they advertise as being "clad in gold". Take it out of the description, it's clad by default unless you say it's silver.

like already posted.... just do not state the fact it is clad
                  I still look for 1969 and 1970 dimes, 1969 to 1972 quarters and 1971 and 1972 dollars
Just bought a 1965,1966,1967,1968, and 1969 dime set

E bays only policy on clad reflects on clad bullion. As far as the coins I couldn't find a answer except this from this site.
About plated, or clad bullion isn't allowed. Replica and counterfeit sections.

What coin did you put on E-BAY...
                      what was your whole title?
                      what was your whole description?

I see a lot of "clad" dimes in the title on E-bay not pulled

Alright guys, thanks for the tips... I will tell my dad to try it without clad in the title.... He only had it there because of customers with coins like the Kennedy clad silvers saying "I thought it was pure silver" then returning it...

In the title and description put 40% silver That should clarify the problem with customers
