Interesting Coin | 1931-D/D RPM-001

I put in my max and still outbid. I wont pay much more for this coin. You dont see this RPM in this grade very often but still...too pricey for me to pick. Someone else definitely picked up on the RPM. Priced at $225 on PCGS

That does seem pricey, especially for a RB.

I missed out on a high grade, but cleaned, raw one last month. I stopped at $35, I think.

Right. The coin itself is priced at $225 but I was hoping to pick it. Didnt work out. I figure the RPM would boost it up a little but not by much. My max was more than I wanted to pay but still outbid. Hope whoever wins is from here and needs the RPM but Im out of this one..lol

Maybe someone was bent on getting a R&B for a set ? who knows. But regardless another and even better example will come along for less.
