I was just looking at this...the price is far too high. I assume the seller just wants to make it seem it is worth that much so the eventual price is higher than it shoud be. It should have just been listed in HA or maybe Teletrade. This is not how eBay works.

I would say $2000 for that coin. The grade is too low!

            I agree.
Now, it's just my personal opinion, but if the seller had started at .99c, it would be more likely to get past 1k and toward 2k, as opposed to listing it way too high at first. One has to use attractive estimates or starting bids to pull people in. Now they have to re-list it or revise the listing and lower it, which probably means it will be 7k or 5k and maybe in a few weeks they'll try getting it lower, but by then it will no longer be (and this is an auction house term) "fresh to the market" and it loses luster. At best, they'll get 1.5k for it. (If only I had an extra 1.5k...)

Yep. I use face value starting bids and Free shipping usually. Lately I been charging $.99 for shipping because the coins arent selling for much at all. Thats why I havent listed alot lately.

That seller would of been very surprised if he started it at .01
              Well over $1000 already

The people who have the money to afford that coin, probably want at least an AU. XF is rare for a Memorial.

I so called it, it was $7,500, now $5,000, next will be $2,500 and finally, maybe $1,000 (but they still may hold out hope and try $1,500).
