Hello everyone ...and Pat;
Thank you for your gracious invite to join your forum. I am new (obviously) to the forum but not to collecting. I am an avid collector, and have been for nearly 40 years. I started at the very young age of 11. I stepped away from my passion of collecting for nearly 20 years to do what most people do...get out of college, start a career, start a family, then all of the sudden it hit me. Go back and do what you love the most. Now I tell her ...honey you have a choice, I can spend my money on money..or I can spend it on a mistress. Your choice. I get a chucklle out of her now and then. At any rate, I have finally completed some complete sets (Washington Quarters, Mercury and Roosevelt Dimes, Buffalo and Jefferson nickles, and a complete collection of Lincoln cents amongst many others). Now I specilaize in error and variety collecting. I do not consider my self an expert, however, I have tested my grading skills against PCGS, NGC and ANACS and quite often I am on the mark. I have yet to learn all that is about variety, attributions, errors and oddities. Again, thanks to the warm welcome and I look forward to contributing to this forum.
