Error Die Crack | Cound in a dime roll

Don't know a thing about (UK?) this coin except that it has a few chips. Don't know if the one on the South side is part of the design or not. Any help on that?

Nice blobs, er, chips you found there.
    A little blurb from wikipedia:
"The original reverse of the coin, designed by Christopher Ironside, is a crowned thistle (formally, The Badge of Scotland, a thistle royally crowned), with the numeral "5" below the thistle, and either NEW PENCE (1968–1981) or FIVE PENCE (1982–2008) above the thistle."
