Sorry, but that's a large date.See how the top of the 7 is lower than the 0
Forgot to add that the small date is not an error...it is a variety.

Yes it is...just not scarce. A 70-s will be either a large or small date, the small date being scarce and having a premium from roughly $15-50 depending on condition.

Thanks,Friend....as you may already know,I can't make any NEW Posting till I verify with a Senior Member first.I'd very much like to send you a picture soon of a 1990 (no S) Copper coated Penny I just found.I (think) from what I have learned so far,Its a PROOF issue ..yes it does show a slight worn-out CAMEO appearance.I compared it to another 1990 that has normal wear (totally different)...I would appreciate your advise.God Bless!

I'm willing to bet a future unborn child that you haven't found a 1990 No "S" in circulation. Please, take some advice from these forums and invest in knowledge first, rather than coins. We're all members here of the same repute, and I doubt any two people will give you the same answer, or even the one you're looking for.

If you're so far convinced that you're right, and everyone else is wrong (or "out to get you"), then best of luck. I can no longer to afford to read your posts if ignorance is a great priority of yours.

Voyager- are you aware that ALL cents minted in Philladelphia have no mintmark? There were 3.29 BILLION of them made in 1990 and only a tiny handful of Proofs lacking a mintmark. Using only the laws of probablity- what do you think you really have?

This is the perspective of one of our own resident experts, Chuck Daughtry:

"Your chances of finding a no-S proof cent in change are about 10,000,000,000 to 1. Your chances are better in being struck by lightning twice on a bright sunny cloudless day."

Seriously- if you did ANY research on the internet, this would have been the very first site to pop up on Google:

You can chose to hear what you want to hear, or you can face reality. You don't have a No-S Proof. Hope that I was more helpful than mean.

I'm not trying to offend Beck- Though my sarcasm may show through some of my posts, I really would prefer to help. I know they're not free, but a kind member has posted a great list and links to affordable books. For the cost of a couple of trips to Wal-Mart for photos, you could have an excellent reference book which will help you far more than any forum or website could. This would be an excellent starting point, we'd be eager to help answer your informed questions.

Roger,my Friend,...one thing I learned today is that I can't POST anything without proper pictures to support them.I learned that the hard way today.I did get a little over-excited and gave a heads up on what I found, and that about all.I my honest mistake,I should have just waited till I got the pictures.A friend of mine came by,and took,HIGH Quality pictures with a $500.00 camera of the TWO-Eyed-Linclon Penny, and couple others.I am still waiting for him to give me those acutal photos so I can scan them with the rest of my finds.I should have just waited....God Bless!

No one said you can't post ANYTHING without pics. If you have been on other forums, you should know how this works. I really don't understand what the problem is. If you have a coin you would like an opinion on, it only makes sense that we would need to see a photo. We haven't got the luxury of ESP. Please...just slow down a bit, quit saying the same things over, and over, and over, and over again.
