Error Lamination | Lamination passing through both sides

Is this somewhat rare? Thanks for the input.

Not too uncommon. I often see laminations on both sides of the coin.

I'll be devil's advocate. Is this an actual lamination issue, or as it looks to me, possibly where the coin was taped to something at one time? I'm just not sure this is a lamination problem.

          Very nice lamination - it's a keeper.

Y'all can be devil's advocate if you want, but as an angel, I'll simply say that since laminations are a planchet problem, it makes sense that a lamination can be on both sides. And no, that is not infernal tape. LOL
