Error Die Clash/Break | Lincoln Prisoner?

Please take a look behind lincolns head. There is a vertical raised line that matches the location of pillar 10 on the reverse. Close to that is another raised line that matches the pillar width, although the second vertical line does not show on the scan you can see it with an angled light.

On the reverse is an area in the middle of the memorial that looks like a square chunk of something...

    Thanks for input in advance.

That coin has definitely been beat up. It is very possible that it is a clashed die, but I just can't make it out through all of the damage.

It seems to me most of the clashes from the early '70s are light and hard to see. A scanner isn't going to be great at detecting it. What you might be seeing are light clashes from the memorial bays on the obverse near the head. The reverse could be the chin, back of head or even abrasion lines/gouges covering up clash marks.
