Here's a 1968S proof cent which i think is a Thick planchet. Planchets from the wrong thickness are produced from the strip that was rolled improperly.
Too little pressure can result in stock that is to thick. To much pressure can result in stock that is to thin if the rollers are out of alignment on one sidea tapered planchet -thicker on one side then the other-is created. I just want to see what other might think if this is a thick planchet or not. The thickness is as thick as a nickle planchet
