Here are pictures of a cent struck 95% off center. Now, so far I've learned that a "blank" side is not a brockage, but an indent. This coin, however, has the letters "IN GO" on the struck side, but is blank on the other. Why is this?
95% off center, with possible indent?

The off center planchet was laying over another planchet in the collar and the one side was struck, but the edge with the two blank planchets over each other have no design to transfer. So that area is called an indent.Richard S. Cooper Some have asked about my images I use, and I'm glad to say I've completed a DVD of these. Ask if you are interested. Newer members like these.
