My amateur vote is MD. I may be easily amused, however, I still think things like that are still great. You can't always catch the big one.

There is more truth to this statement than you realize. The majority of central MD for this design affects the same areas as the true hub doubling. You must look for the rounded type doubling versus the flat, shelf like doubling, especially on top of the 'planters'. I think if you can find examples of both, then it will be easier to differentiate between the two. This one is not as cut and dry as others, but can be mastered with time and patience.
