Error Die Clash/Break | freestanding interior die break?

Would this anomaly be considered a freestanding interior die break or just simply a die crack?

It's a die crack with a small chip.

What was confusing to me is the way the crack splits and forms an "island", intersecting top and bottom. Pretty neat die crack.

Part of the die is crumbling away in that area. I've seen worse:
Richard S. Cooper Some have asked about my images I use, and I'm glad to say I've completed a DVD of these. Ask if you are interested. Newer members like these.

Probably should've specified this from the get go, but the area I've highlighted here is where my thoughts originated in regards to a die break. This section seems to be raised slightly higher than the rest of the obverse.
