I found this penny today and thought it looked a little odd. There seems to be an S attached to the T on the obverse in the word trust. I just wanted to know your thoughts on this. Thanks. T in Trust.jpg
I can't tell if the anomaly is raised or not, but either way, it is the result of corrosion and the plating may be blistering. It is definitely not a mint error. It is damage from corrosion.
