Error Other | 1944-P ZINC COATED STEEL PLANCHET

I would like to get everyone's opion on this 1944-P i just found 10 mins. ago....Now my heart had PALPUTATIONS when it was the next coin in my hand......I THINK i have found a 1944-P struck on a zinc coated steel planchet....The coin is ROUGH but hey it is an EXTREMELY RARe error......Please look at the photos also you will see it weighs 2.7 Grams on my scale, that is what the planchet weight is to be.......PLEASE let me know your thoughts and what i should do..

The 2nd "4" looks strange IMO.

Put a magnet to.it ... Does it stick? That is the first thing to do

I agree.
I'm not sure but I'm thinking it could have been a 43 with a weak 3 and then a scrape pushed the metal making the west angular part of the 4. It almost looks like a scape going up beyond the top of that 4. The last 4 looks a bit small and strange.

It's a tough one. It could be a 4 but it could also be coincidental damage that looks like a 4. Or it might even have been tooled to look like a 4 then rusted.

Get more opinions and see if people think it's worth sending in.
I hope it's a 4 but can't say it is for sure.

It does not stick to a magi net...but it is 2.7 grams.....

I'd call it a 44, but if a magnet doesn't stick to it, steel is out of the question. The light weight could only be due to the obvious extreme circulation and/or corrosion.

I was assuming you already tried a magnet.
If it won't stick, it's not steel.

the coin looks like it was dipped into acid. In one image you can see the rim is reduced. Thus the reason it is under weight.
