    Error Die Crack | Never found one

    I was going through my 1988's that I set aside to look for RDV's and I found this.Is this a die crack?

          Very common place for it, too. For some reason, many 1983 cents are plagued by this at the same location.

              On early copper plated Zincolns (83-89 ) both ends of the base of the memorial has the crack. Also the most common places are off the top of the 2nd tier ( 2nd row of states of the memorial ) through ED of UNITED or RIC of AMERICA.
