Error Other | 1912 S improper alloy steaks

No to big of an error here, but I thought it looked neat and nice condition too! The seller described the coin as scratched and I think that helped me get a decent deal at $16.50. I had a strong feeling it wasn't scratched because of the same color streak on the reverse. How do you guys feel about these improper mixes. Are the steaks distracting to you or do you find them as interesting as I do?!

My 09-s vdb has improper mix...I don't especially like it....but I don't get bent out of shape about it either....it seems pretty common on early Lincolns.

Depending on the coin, it can be neat looking or it can be a distraction.
