Error Struck Through | 1940 struck thru grease?

Any thoughts as to this being a greaser? Very aesthetically pleasing either way. And no, I don't know what that word means! It just sounded really cool after a bit of 'Nog!

I'm thinking maybe just extreme circulation wear but we will see what the experts say.

Also looks like a late die state as the L in LIBERTY is merging into the rim. I would imagine that being that late of a die state that the bust would not have had very much detail when it left the mint in 1940!

Looks like it's just worn, a greaser would have full rims.

I also think this is just a lot of wear.

              Ditto on the circulation wear.
