    Error Die Clash/Break | 1960-D Obverse Clash

This is why this forum is the best on the web! The best in the game teach here each and every day!
A while back the wizards here led me to an expose B.J. Neff did on the 1960-D clashes. I studied it, went back through
some '60-D's I've had for, oh, 3 years, and found this 3 coins deep in my search! Just goes to show that if you don't know
what you're looking FOR, you likely won't find it!

There are likely more clashes on this coin but it needs a bath to see them. Hopefully, more to come on this one!

That is nice... Have you checked the clash site yet??? I know what you mean... At one time I would have tossed this to this side as die dings... Glad I ended up here and the folks help keep me straight... A good wack with a 2x4, from time to time, is a good mind straightener

Yours looks to be a tilted die clash and I think the 1960 large dates have none listed for that. I sent one to BJ for listing but have not seen it there yet though mine only showes on the reverse. Great find !

So sad ... My reverse consumption engine was a broken fuel gauge ... gonna look at coins now. John

Boy, I don't think I would have ID-ed that as a clash. Thanks for posting it.

Have I erred and posted an Eggnogger again?

I went through all the listing and theres no match for your SD Clash. Similar to 12 but its not a match.. Nice find. I was on a 1960 clash kick for a wile but gave up buying rolls and now I'm just waiting for one to find me..lol

What determines value?...supply and demand. I'm sure someone will pay a small premium but not everyone knows about them.

Thanks. I know I haven't seen any like this on EBay.
