    This is why I really do not like initials..
    instead of RIDB...... which going by your title you thought was reverse...
    we said Retained Interior Die Break .... I do not think you would have had as hard of a problem... you would have been able to find it in the glossary

      Thank you John, that is correct! I also did not understand Retained Interior Die Breaks because of the shift, which I kinda understand now, and I understand the concept that the area on the die has not fallen out. I have several that I think are retained interior die breaks set aside and I am trying to study them. I have a 1962D that has what looks like an obverse partial cud (rim to rim) I can see the die crack outline and one side of it already has the cud showing but the other side does not. Then it has about three areas at the rim that are not from the collar taking a hit, that may be smaller cuds.
