Error Die Crack | 2006 Skull Die Crack

I think someone at the mint was trying to perform brain surgery on Lincoln.

Nice find... That is a fairly good sized crack... The dies appear to have weak spots in this area of the Lincolns... Kind of like the 1980 Lincolns with the cracks from the corners of the Memorial... Fun to find for sure!!!

That is awesome! I have seen a couple of these I believe, do they come with bigger gouge like areas? I also have some of those, I thought that if the crack/missing metal/ scratch, etc... was sort of shiny that it's usually post mint?

The cracks and chips seen on coins are transfers from the dies... It is the die that is cracked or chipped!!!
