    Error Other | 1970 pmd or error ?

    The front of the coin looks like the rockwell test was performed on it. The back of the coin.I'm not sure It looks like the top part of the memorial was pushed up.

    Someone simply hit the front with a punch while it was on a hard surface. This destroyed the design on the reverse.

          I vote punch because of the shape of the dent . A shot from a trusty "Red Rider" would have a rounded dent. "IMO"
