Error Die Crack | Spike plus an extra 8?

Found this in a roll last nite... Took a while to get the gunk off of it... Nice spike and what looks like an extra 8 under LIBERTY or my pair of doilies again The multi color toning does not appear to be natural... Looks like some one cleaned it at one time with a steam cleaner!!!

Jim, I'm surprise you missed the S mint mark to the NW of the 8! Anyway, I am sure all of those tentacles coming off of the 8 are just a coincidence. It is clear to me what it really is. Please refer to the new photo. There, I fixed it.
