Error Other | 1980 cent weird 0 on date

Ok, I'm pretty sure that this took a hit to make the 0 look clipped, but I just wanted to make sure because I don't see where the other part of the leftover 0 is from the hit. Maybe circulation wear that causes the rounded part of the 0 to not be visible?

You are correct... It took a hit that displaced some metal... Pretty cool looking... It looks like an inverted D
