Found this unusual Lincoln with lamination and a rim to rim die crack. Thanks for looking.

Nice lamination, and beautifully and expertly captured! I have to question that die crack, though. It would be the strangest die crack I ever saw. Too straight. It doesn't look like a die crack. All opinions expressed are not necessarily shared by willbrooks or his affiliates. Taking them may result in serious side effects. Results may vary. Nice find Larry... The metal at the bow tie looks like it may be the piece from the collar area rolled over??? It has the same general shape... The chin area looks like it may have a lamination peel beginning to raise up also... I am not sure on the crack either... Looks kind of like a crack but it also looks like another lamination coming up... There appears to be some metal raising at the rim on both ends and the majority of the length appears more like a gradual sloping up mountain range than an earthquake fissure???Jim

Does that really help??? I tried to describe it what I could relate it to visually... I know there are more technical terms that can be used but for the most part they are not descriptive enough for most people (Me included)... Unless of course you have a PHD in CoinologyJim
