Error Planchet | 1967 Irregular planchet? Heavier than normal

Hi, I found this 1 by accident as it dropped on my desk and made an irregular sound. It weights 3.30 g's. I found a couple of other 67's to compare and noticed the other ones were all mixed in weight, heaviest of the other examples as 3.16 g's.

Do you think i should mark this one as "Irregular Planchet - Heavier than normal coin of same denomination" ?

I'm not sure what the exact mint tolerances for weight is but yours is 6.45% heavier than mint specs. (.2 divided by 3.1) Probably not far off of normal tolerance.

I looked up and saw ±.13g as their weight tolerance.

Your cent was struck on a planchet punched out of rolled-thick stock. Rolled-thick cents can get as heavy as 4.2 grams (with rumors of even heavier examples).

It would be thinner than the normal but not as thick as the thicker I am sure there is a +/- range for the manufacturing but I do not know what it is... I looked at the mints web site a while back but did not find any historical info for the manufacturing tolerances... I am planning to put in FOI request to find out but have not done so yet!!!
