Error Other | PSD alien slug

Still not finding much but thought this was a neat case of PSD that looks like a giant alien slug climbing the stairs.

LOL Jon, it does look like an alien slug! I was hoping when I looked at the reverse I could say "it's a 99 WAM"! Hopefully your next batch of Lincoln's will produce some good stuff for you! Fingers crossed!!!

No, you're in the right neck of the woods for wams. You'll find some!

I can't tell by the pic if that is raised or incuse. If it is incuse then it is a hit. If it is raised it might be a die chip.

My first thought after seeing it: Paint it red, it looks like a hot pepper!

Ed, it's a hit. From the west side to the east side of the slug are how I have the new pics shown. It's a scrape and a gouge into the coin on the west end that was then pushed and raised up on the east end. So the slug is both incuse and raised but from a hit/gouge.

Thanks, new pics make it clear, even the zinc showing through.
