I thought at first it was just PMD but there are too many consistencies from letter to letter and some up under the crossbar of each "T" in the same place. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks, Jon.

You are so right! I still have not gotten myself in the right mindset when looking at the plated Lincolns. I forget all the other possible anomalies that occur with it. There are also raised areas above the first T and the second S that may be plating bubbles. Thank you for your help!!Comment

The plating split but the MD factor pushed the metal into a strand form!!!You are so right! I still have not gotten myself in the right mindset when looking at the plated Lincolns. I forget all the other possible anomalies that occur with it. There are also raised areas above the first T and the second S that may be plating bubbles. Thank you for your help!!Jim
