I found this 2017p Shield cent with these multiple raised, sort of concentric wavy lines showing up mainly on the devices around EP, M & ONE CENT on the reverse.
They are most visible on the banner and shield but do carry over onto the field and letters. Unfortunately with my limited imaging capabilities I was only able to capture some of the raised lines.
(My apologies in advance but I wanted to get the directions they meander down in print while observing it.)
Top of the shield- Minimal lines
1)There are three "waves" going n.e. off the E (EPU). One each at the middle and bottom right of E. The bottom right exits the shield over the P.
2)There is a third that starts in the field by the shield by E (EPU), continues across the face of the shield to the left top corner of the E and exits the top edge of the shield over the E.
3)One enters the shield over the U of (UNUM), continues to the right side of the M, follows this leg and exits the shield on the far right, the separating band of the shield.
Banner at the bottom (ONE CENT)-
1)Four lines enter the banner from the field above ON.
2)Three exit the banner onto the shield below NE.
3)They continue in a shallow arc and re-enter the banner below the E (CENT), to the lower left and out the top right of N (CENT) and stops at the edge of the banner above the left side of the T.
Image #8 seems to show the lines the best, starting on the banner above LB.
(I'm wondering if these are similar to Stoneman's Lincoln cent he sent to Mike Diamond.)
Thanks for looking, Cliff
