I think in relief but I'm not sure now. I did think about that but there is no damage to the column on either side. Here are some more pics but I'm still unsure. You may be right on the PSD.
On your third photo above, it looks incuse to me (under the CA) but my eyes like to play tricks on me sometimes. So, I'm thinking it's probably not a die clash but we'll see what the boss says

I zoomed in to 300% on the 4th image and those do look in relief... On the north side of the bay are some abrasions so I am thinking some stray heavier abrasions... The lines just east and toward the north end of C12 look incuse and appear to be PSD!!!
