Error Die Crack | 1993 P New Spike Head maybe?

I just wanted you guys to take a look at this before I send to JC. It looks very similar to SKH-1c-1991-07 but I think it is different, just hard to tell from the pic in the listing.

    Thanks for you help, Jon.

Very nice Spike Head cent Jon! If yours is a 1993 then it looks different from SKH-1c-1993-07, this listing is not easy to see but I zoomed in and squinted my eyes to focus... and yours looks different Congrats!

Ah ha! it is a 93, just found your pic! Looked again... yours looks like it starts more toward the center of the W and exits more to the West of the West lower side of the W.

Nice crack -- Didn't know what to expect and was thinking it would be a thin line off the top of his head straight to the rim.

That is a good 'un. I have never come across one of those.

Is all that from a broken die?

Thanks T!! Take a look at the other Spike heads, the different years. This one is kind of lame compared to some. As for it being a broken die I'm not sure what you mean. It is a cracked die but they can get much worse before the mint puts them out of commission. You may not notice them because you are searching for RPM's on the opposite end of the coin.

Nice find Jon... To me it looks more like 1993-020 Yours appears to enter the bottom of the W farther east and exits the top upper portion farther west than 07... Congrats on the new listing!!!

                  Any news from JC?

LOL.. I was just reading Jim's description of your spike head cent and compared it to my description. Men may not be the best at reading instructions, but they are definitely better at giving directions

I figured he would be... Looks like they will need a separate page for some of those 1990 - 1999 spikes pretty soon!!!!
