Error Other | 2003D large "Wasp nest" interior die break

Found this 2003-D LMC also this weekend with a large "Wasp Nest" interior die break. The largest I have found to date of any year.

I thought it might have effected the T of LIBERTY since it was opposite and extra metal was required to fill the "nest" but that doesn't appear to have happened.

(This one is big enough it might actually have hornets in it! )
    Thanks for looking.

Very nice IDB Cliff!! I checked Cuds on Coins and there was only one for 2003 and it was a Philly coin. That's an impressive hornets nest!!

Nice find... I am leaning towards a hornets nest... A wasps nest is smaller Wish they were adding new listings!!!

That is a very nice hornet's nest Cliff, Congrats! I wonder if JC is listing these for cuds-on-coins.com? Cliff, would you email him your photos and ask?

          Thanks Viv.
I think Jim reply answers this question but I could check with JC and see.
(I still have to figure out how to resize the images)

It's easy on "PAINT". Open the pic with paint and in the upper left corner you will see "resize". Click on that and it will give you two choices, percentage or pixels, pick pixels. Then take the larger of the two pixels and change it to 800, it will automatically change the other horizontal or vertical, which ever the case may be. Hit OK in the bottom left corner of the small box that opened when you did the resize and the small box will go away. Click on the X in upper right hand corner of PAINT and it will ask you if you want to save, hit save and you're done!

(Edit: Thanks Jon because I tried again and was able to resize images for a few coins.)
I just tried it and my PC froze. Had to unplug it. (Even Control Alt Delete at the same time didn't work.)
Thanks for being patient with me Jon. I'll try again because I want to figure this out.

              So you mean-

              Open Paint.
Opened a random image I wanted to resize while in the PAINT app.
              I clicked on
              "Resize"
I chose pixels and only changed to 500 (from 100) because I didn't read the 800 recommendation.
              <This is where it froze>

Hit "OK" in bottom left corner of the box that opened after hitting "Resize"
Click on the "X" in upper Rt hand corner of PAINT
              Hit save and done.

That's it! You can just hover over the thumb nail of the pic and it should show you the current size to see what it is.

I just noticed you opened paint first Cliff. I'm not sure how to go about it that way but maybe you can. I always have the pic opened already, you should be able to use whatever program you normally do to open your pics. In the upper right hand corner, just below the X there should be something to click on for more options, and paint should be one of the options. It may work just fine going about it the way you did though.

but I could check with JC and see.
I had a BIE listed a week or so ago, so maybe they are still listing new ones.

Special thanks again to you, Jon, for helping get the process about how to resize the images through my thick skull. Others have tried!

It is a nice one but was really impressed looking through the listings and saw that there was a 2003 Philly with and even larger "Nest".
Thanks again to everyone's help and input.

                            Thanks Viv.
I've been reluctant to post images lately because of the issues I have with consistency, but making some slow progress.

And because it was a large enough item to see, I didn't have to rely on
                            Jim's imaging abilities. (Thanks Jim)

Cool... Congrats on the new listing and thanks for the follow up... You are always welcome... To let you know my pic taking abilities are awful... If not for stacking software I would have a pics that are out of focus
