    Error Broadstrike | 1951-D Broadstruck ?

    Hi:
Just found in a bank roll - very intersting. The obverse looks like broadstruck or off center, the reverse's interior rim looks "reeded."
Ok error experts - what do you think?
    Thanks again

I would say that it was encased at one time or another.

Looks like it was in a bezel at one time, or in a metal casing of some sort. Some were hung around the neck as a piece of jewelry and others were carried in a pocket as good luck charms. That's what they mean by encased.
