Nice clash... The mint really did a number on the obv die... Took out a lot of the details on the vest, bowtie and throat not to mention the TY... That overlay is an excellent job... On your 1st full rev pic I thought the date was showing on the NE edge of the roof and your overlay matches up!!!

Thank you Jim, there was a slight die rotation on this one, but fortunately Photoscape has a device that allows for that so as to make the adjustment. Also thank you Jon and Pete for looking and your thoughts. I posted another pic showing some slight clashing on the obverse if anyone is interested...................Dan

You are welcome... Not easy to get the obv clash remnants... That die was heavily abraded... I checked the mad die site on both atypical http://www.maddieclashes.com/atypical-u-s-small-cent/ and typical http://www.maddieclashes.com/typical...-s-small-cent/ clashes and did not see yours listed... Is says Jason is doing attributions again http://www.maddieclashes.com/submissions/ but that may not be accurate... I have not seen him on since his mother passed away... Even tho yours is heavily abraded I think it should still be listed since clash remnants are still visible on both sides??? Shows he was last on July 2018!!!

Thank you Jim for looking on the mad die site, I also looked and did not see anything that would match either. I'll mark it and keep it handy..........Dan
