Error Multiple Strikes | Lo1940 s wheathead error help?

I was doing some coin roll hunting and came across this 1940 s wheathead penny looks like it was double stamped or died on the back. Could use some help on this.

Yeah, definitely been through a "wringer" of some kind with concentric damage like that.

Welcome to the LCF! Thank you for your post and question! As a new collector circulation damage like this used to drive me crazy, so if you are ever in doubt - it's always a good idea to ask!

Cool looking... The big gouge is definitely Post Strike Damage (PSD)... I am not 100% sure on the pattern tho??? With that amount of damage on the rev I would think the obv would also show damage in relation to the rev??? Could this be a struck thru??? Here is some info from Error Ref - http://www.error-ref.com/?s=struck+through

Added - I forgot to say welcome to the LCF... Pics look pretty good... If possible try to get a closer pic to the coins and maybe a close up of some of the anomaly!!!
