Error BIE | 1955-S "BIE" error found in a customer roll.

I was searching customer rolls this morning when I spotted this nice 1955-S “BIE” error. I found a virtually identical example a few weeks ago. I’m loving all these customer rolls that my bank is saving for me now.

Yes, it was listed on COC but I can't find my note on the coin for the listing number. I will look it up again.

Great BIE find Mark! I'll check back to see what your attribution find was on the first one. So this one is exactly the same? Wow!

Please tell me what type of light you are using. Your full coin shots with the Celestron are very very good... and mine still um... are not good!

            Hi Viv,
I am only using the light that comes with the Celestron. I put the lens up as high as it would go and the played with the light switch until I liked the results. I believe that the black background that you suggested is the key. It lets me use a lower light setting.

Thank you Mark! Another thing that helps is you are always posting photos of awesome looking wheat cents! The color and details of a wheat comes out so much better than shiny Shields! As wheat cents age and the patina turns into lovely colors, the surface imperfections do not show up as much under high magnification. You are doing a great job with your new Celestron and finding some great finds!

Good judgment comes from experience, and a lotta that comes from bad judgment.
