I had one years ago that I sent to Wexler, and it ended up Being some kind of debris covered up. I doubt that this is what yours is though.

No. That was in my very very very beginning. I was on Coin talk mostly back then.

Yes, the debris was underneath the plating.

I lost that coin when we moved. I think it got mixed up in some other coins and got tossed back. I have not seen that thing in forever now. That is the only thing that I can think of what happened to it.

Well dang! I am not familiar with debris under the plating but I can see it being a thing!

Yes, the debris was underneath the plating.
