Ha ha Jon... I was going to joke with Jody and say... Sorry, but this is just damage LOL! WOW Jody! Definitely the most awesome lamination I have ever seen! Congrats!
Congrats on having the "filler" to go with the coin.
Amazing this survived going through the upturn mill. The pressure from punching out the blank must have been just enough to lock the two together for the minting process.
That is cool looking... Did you notice there an edge of another lamination at the top of the CE??? The E of EPU is mostly gone also... To me it looks as if it broke loose during the strike... There is a nice ridge on the SW edge on the depression... Also the UST of TRUST looks weak... Cool... Do you mind if I do an overlay with the rev and lam piece???
Jim (A.K.A. Elmer Fudd) Be verwy verwy quiet... I'm hunting coins!!! Good Hunting!!!

Thanks Jim. I don't mind at all if you do an overlay.

Thanks for letting me do overlays... The first is the fragment put back in place... The 2nd is the obv over rev... The section over the east wheat stalk may have been loose prior to the strike??? That area appears deep which could explain the weakness of the UST in TRUST!!!
