Pretty nice unabraded die clash Rowdy.
Even seems to be a dual event looking at the left side under the stairs. -
Thanks for looking, Cliff. I noticed that too. It seems one event starts at the bottom of the T and runs through the Memorial. The other starts at the bottom of the E and runs through the Memorial. They seem to run side by side through bays 3 & 4 and under the left side of the steps as you point out.Comment

Thanks Rowdy!! Yeah, I always have issues getting good closeups of any coin that has lots of abrasions, the light reflects so badly off of them. I thought you may actually have a floating clash, it looked like a U from UNUM in front of the chin but the new pics show what looks to be one of the bays. I think yours is just a typical die clash with dual clashes on the reverse. Very cool find, congrats!!

Very nice die clash Rowdy and great job on the pics! The Type 1 Counter Clash we will need some help with. Your post #5, first pic (Upper Obv) is showing a vertical anomaly behind Lincoln's head. Here is a Type 1 Counter Clash similar to that on maddieclashes.com, what do you guys think? CCL(T1)-1c-1986-01 (7th photo down)Comment

Nice find... That should be an atypical die clash (ADC)... There is at least 2 clashes... They do look abraded as we can see due east of Abes mouth and nose and around the head... I did a quick look but did not see a match but that may be due to the late die stage... The area of the bowtie and vest has been abraded/polish and worn away... Hope that helps a bit... You going to try an overlay???Jim
(A.K.A. Elmer Fudd)Be verwy verwy quiet... I'm hunting coins!!! Good Hunting!!!
