    Error Other | Rockwell Hardness Test or backyard test?

    As soon as I saw this I thought of the article on the CONECA website. I'm figuring PMD since you can see the design elements inside the impression on the reverse and the tests are supposed to be performed on the planchet before the coin is struck. Pretty neat, though.

    It is neat and it is damage. Rockwell test dots are much smaller, and they don't do them on the edge of a coin either.
