I have acquired a few rolls of BU 1960-D in one came across 17 pennies that appear to be from the same hub, not sure if it’s possible or how many they would produce before pulling it? Thought it would be under error attribution but please correct me if I’m wrong

Just a die chip in the 9, pretty common....and it's not unusual for them to run thousands before pulling the die, if they even pull it -
Nice to hear from ya, Liz! Nice looking coins but as Roger said, the die chips are pretty common. You will As time goes on and you continue to search, you will run across finding like dies in the same roll, especially when you buy BU rolls. I have had this occur with bank rolls too, when a new year has come out. I've even found the same die but with varying die stages, in the same rolls.Comment

One point of clarification: a cud is essentially a die chip but is only found on the rim.
