It looks to me that this 1943 has a obverse die crack running from the rim to the date. Also it appears to have two die cracks opposite each other from the rim to Lincoln’s vest. Thanks for looking.

Nice looking coin. Even though the cracks come at the base of the bust, they still qualify as a spike head. Here are some to check out.

Your obv also looks to be one of the retouched (channeling) dies that Error Ref discusses (1st set of pics rt side 2nd paragraph)!!!

Thanks for the follow up pics... Those are good... I can see the cracks up and into the jacket... I also see a crack from the W of WE into the head that I did not notice before... That trench around the hair is part of the reengraving of the dies... Also looks like yours shows reengraving around the nose chin and neck!!!Jim
