Error Die Crack | 1943 multiple die cracks

It looks to me that this 1943 has a obverse die crack running from the rim to the date. Also it appears to have two die cracks opposite each other from the rim to Lincoln’s vest. Thanks for looking.

Nice looking coin. Even though the cracks come at the base of the bust, they still qualify as a spike head. Here are some to check out.

Thanks Jon, I know that in regards to the top of Lincoln’s head but was unaware of the lower portion also being considered a Spikehead as well.

Again, thanks Jim. I did submit this one but he couldn’t clearly see the die cracks at 350x350 on the full coin photographs so it didn’t make the cut. Once I get the photos right I will try and re-submit some that couldn’t get in.

Your obv also looks to be one of the retouched (channeling) dies that Error Ref discusses (1st set of pics rt side 2nd paragraph)!!!

Added - It can take a bit to get the pics figured out but you are doing a good job so far... You will get there!!!

Jim, here are some close ups of the areas that you mentioned. I do see what you are saying about the halo type ring on Lincolns hair.

Thanks for the follow up pics... Those are good... I can see the cracks up and into the jacket... I also see a crack from the W of WE into the head that I did not notice before... That trench around the hair is part of the reengraving of the dies... Also looks like yours shows reengraving around the nose chin and neck!!!
