Error Other | Wrong Plancet or Foreign or Acid Bath?

Well I have what appears to be a 1.5 gram Lincoln Cent and it is blurry which leads me to thinking it might have been treated. It is too blurry to be struck on a wrong planchet. Any thoughts? This could be a real good specimen to post for thosse not schooled in this type of activity.

Most likely a PMD product, not sure which of the many ways a coin could look like this befell this coin specifically though. An interesting find nevertheless.

...I should probably add as a disclaimer, of course there may be a way that I am ignorant of that it could be a Mint product. Always learning about errors and different PMD methods...

          Brownie,

Exactly, and as I thought, Acid damagd and my first one, the darn thing is wafer thin and actually pretty cool. I love the Margolis book, it sure clears up a lot of these shenanigans.
